The Australian Bee Gee's are coming to the parker Playhouse this Saturday night!. As the number one tribute group to the greatest band of brothers to come from Down Under, the Bee Gee's, you can be surw that you are in for a night of booty shakin' music from the 70's Disco era.

We interviewed with Wayne Hosking, who portrays Maurice Gibb in the abnd. Haskins took time out of his very busy touring scedule to talk with Click on the RED LINK BUTTON ABOVE to hear the recorded interview. Here are some interesting tidbits about the Austalian Bee Gee's....

David Davis (Barry) – Vocals & Guitar Born in Charleston, West Virginia, David developed a love for music at a young age. He began formally studying percussion at age 11 and self-teaching himself guitar at age 14. He has and continues to perform professionally as a songwriter, drummer, guitarist, bassist, and vocalist. In addition to his career as a musician, he has obtained degrees in Social Studies, Secondary Education, and Law. 

Ricardo Antonio (Robin) Ricardo started in Opera companies in the 90’s, appearing in many operas. Broadway National Tours: Jesus Christ Superstar & Grease. Based in Las Vegas, Ricardo has been seen in many productions including singing with acts like the Drifters, the Coasters, and the Platters, in addition to the cast of the Broadway hit Rock Of Ages. 

Wayne Hosking (Maurice) – Vocals & Keyboard Wayne was born in Melbourne, Australia and raised in a musical family. His father was a guitarist and bandleader, his mother played the drums and Wayne studied Piano from a young age. His passion for music and entertainment was growing and during this high school years, homework was rapidly being replaced by nightly performances as a solo pianist and singer in Melbourne bars and restaurants. He then set up a theatre company called "No Mates" and took on the roles of Musical Director, as well as on stage performance. The company toured internationally and became the foundation of 'Drama in Education' in Australia. He composed his first opera "Crusade" at age twenty-one, a story about the doomed children’s crusade of the 12th century. The production premiered at the Melbourne concert hall and was staged at the Edinburgh Festival to standing ovations over 3 nights. In 1996, after many years off the stage producing shows, Wayne decided at age twenty-four that the "itch" was too great and took up an invitation to take on the role of 'Maurice' in a new Bee Gees stage show, "Stayin Alive." Wayne now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife and two children. 

David Inamine – Bassist Bassist / Producer / Audio Consultant. Worked on over 100 albums (including gold projects). Toured with Jazz & Pop artist worldwide. 

Rick Powell – Drummer Born in Dargaville, New Zealand, Rick took up the drums at the age of 8 after seeing a local drummer playing in a band. By the age of 12, he was playing professionally on weekends in a local country band. The next several years, Rick toured New Zealand and the U.S. with the Queen City Big Band, performed with the Ken Pearson Power Band and the pit orchestra of Pirates of Penzance National Tour starring Peter Noone. Rick worked on cruise ships based out of the U.S. backing acts such as Ben Vereen, Peter Noone, Charo, Scott Record and Bowzer (Sha Na Na). In 2000, he moved to New Jersey and began freelancing and performed in Chicago on Broadway and also in the Legends in Concert show in Atlantic City. Rick moved to Las Vegas in 2002 after being asked to perform in Charo’s resident show at the Sahara Hotel. Rick took over the musical director position for Charo in 2004. In the fall of 2011, after filling in for several weeks, Rick joined the Australian Bee Gees Show. Rick resides on Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife and two children.
