STEAL THE SKY AND HARD ROCK CAFE ....

                                A PERFECT COMBO

                         FOR A SATURDAY NIGHT!

As we have been telling you since last week, the Hard Rock Café at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino have been featuring some amazing bands that are being flown in on Friday & Saturday nights to entertain Café patrons and those that don't mind getting on their feet and shakin’ it for a bit. We decided to come back to the Café to see if the great time we had last week was just a fluke, or if Property President Auggie Cipollini’s promise to bring amazing talent from the Northeast to the Hard Rock Café was able to withstand another weekend.

We arrived to the Café ten minutes before this week’s band Steal The Sky took to the stage. The band was finalizing their set up which was made up of drums, lead guitar, and bass. It is always interesting to see what a three-piece band will do to fill the room with sound.

Steal The Sky hails from Pennsylvania and is made up of three musicians, and singer Alyssa. Alyssa brings an amazingly strong, soulful voice that belies her young age of only 23. Her energy, stage presence and instant likability give the band a great addition that fits perfectly. Stephen as band leader and co-lead vocalist, also brings stinging live guitar and rich keyboard/sample programming that gives the band a full modern sound. Eliot brings solid modern bass guitar, and is a legit third lead vocalist, rounding out the front line with energy and clean blue eyed soul. Jared is a rock solid drummer with great timing and groove, consistently laying down the back bone of the band night after night.

The crowd here at the Hard Rock Café was already pumped up after seeing an amazing live performance by the legendary duo from Fleetwood Mac, Buckingham/McVie at Hard Rock Live that ended at 10 pm. Steal The Sky would have to their absolute best to keep this crowd rockin’, and that they did.

Each set lasts about one hour and the music flows from this band, one song after another. Steal The Sky plays Top 40 music from today, and classics from yesterday, giving a great mix of music to satisfy just about every musical taste. The new late-night programming at Hard Rock Café is booked through the end of the year with a band slated for New Years Eve. One band is featured on both Friday & Saturday night of each week and plays two sets from 10 pm to 1am. Half-priced drinks are also featured as well. What more could you ask for?

We ordered some tasty appetizers comprised of chicken tenders and flatbread pizza that were beyond our expectations, although we have always been very well satisfied with the menu at the Hard Rock Café. The Café manager Ed Whitehead took excellent care of us as well as the patrons dining and dancing here tonight. We constantly viewed Mr.Whitehead catering to his Café guests and bending to their will. The Café was packed and, although the band and menu are a great draw on their own, I believe the attention to detail and customer service that Mr. Whitehead provides, stands on its own and is a reason alone to visit this particular Hard Rock Café location.

We had an early morning event to attend so we left after the first set. Another great time at the Hard Rock Café! I was able to meet Property President Auggie Cipollini, who was on hand tonight. He said that next week’s band is a must-see. Come out next Friday and Saturday night to see an amazing band from, as their Facebook page lists as the World, by the name of 3am Tokyo.

See you there….
