                            THE HARD ROCK CAFE

                AT THE SEMINOLE HARD ROCK

                                  HOTEL & CASINO

LAUNCHES NEW LATE NIGHT, HIGH ENRGY,

                   LIVE MUSIC PROGRAMMING

The Hard Rock Café at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino-Hollywood has recently launched new Late Night programming. Not only is it new and exciting, but it is right here in our own backyard. A hand-selected roster of up-and-coming musical acts have been contracted to come to the Hard Rock Café stage and bring an array of musical styles to satisfy everyone's auditory pallet. Rockbandreviews.com visited Hard Rock Café to see what the buzz was all about. We are so glad we did!

Property president Auggie Cipollini has extensively combed the northeast U.S. in search of bands that bring a high-energy set of classic and contemporary cover hits. These bands will be performing two sets each Friday and Saturday night from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., now through December 31.

To further complement the new Late-Night musical programming, Hard Rock Café has launched a Late-Night Happy Hour that will include half-priced drinks in the lounge and bar area, also from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. With great music, half-priced drinks, and not to mention, some of the best and tasty menu offerings The Café has to offer, a night out at the Hard Rock Café on a Friday or Saturday night is a no-brainer.

We had an opportunity to visit the Café this past Saturday night to see what this is all about. Mind you that we just spent all day covering Rockfest 80’s at CB Smith Park, and were beyond exhausted interviewing and shooting the headline bands all day in the hot Florida sun. Still, we were curious to see if what we were hearing was all that.

Arriving to the Café, we were greeted by Hard Rock Café manager Ed Whitehead. I immediately got a great feel from this guy. He was not what your typical restaurant manager would look like, but what you would expect your Hard Rock Café manager to be. Dressed all in black with some of the most amazing tattoos I have seen, Mr. Whitehead escorted us to a table up front. We missed a third of the bands first set, but we're glad to hear that the band would be doing a second set after a short break.

The Café was filled to capacity and there was such a great buzz that good times were happening here. Mr. Whitehead personally took our drink order and then introduced us to our server Mark, who took care of us and went out of his way to make sure our night was one that we were not going to forget.

The band that was featured this night was The Zoo. This group of amazing musicians we more that anything we were expecting. They were high-energy to infinity and beyond! The Zoo’s primary vocalist Randy had many of those in the Café on their feet and happily dancing. The Zoo is one versatile band. This is a group that is just as comfortable performing at a posh gala as they are performing in front of a raucous beach crowd. Nobody knows how to keep a party going like front man and founding member, Randall John. He and female lead vocalist Ariana Gavrilis front this powerhouse of a band. Randy has kept the line-up youthful over the years and the current line-up is perhaps the freshest and hottest yet. If this is what the Hard Rock Café is offering for musical talent, you can be sure that we will be here every weekend to see what great musical surprises are in store for us.

Here is a list of the line-up Hard Rock Café is featuring through December 31…

Nov. 10-11 Steal the Sky

Nov. 17-18 3AM Tokyo

Nov. 24-25 Flowers for Taco

Dec. 1-2 Garden State Radio

Dec. 8-9 Big Bang Baby

Dec. 15-16 Laura Lea & Tripp Fabulous

Dec. 22-23 Flowers for Taco

Dec. 29-31 Event Horizon

I must admit that I had MORE FUN at the Hard Rock Café than I did watching Cheap Trick and Joan Jett at Rockfest! The atmosphere and energy of The Zoo awakened our exhausted souls and we rocked out until 1 a.m. When The Zoo was finished for the night. I truly think we could have made it to 5 a.m. If the band had been contracted to play longer.
