DAVE MASON TAKES THE SHOW AT THE

              PERFECT VODKA AMPHITHEATER

By Bill Hernandez -

With over forty years of music experience under his belt, singer/songwriter Dave Mason has played his music all over the world. Last night, concert goers at the Perfect Vodka Amphitheater got to experience a lifetime of music and lyrics by the man himself as he shared the stage with The Doobie Brothers and Journey.

Mason took to the stage to a roaring crowd thirsty for music. As the opening act for this trifecta of musical performers, it is Mason's job to ready the crowd and warm them up. He did not disappoint.

Mason opened his set with the songs "Only You Know And I Know", and "Pearly Queen". Mason's next selection blew the roof off of the place. "We Just Disagree" took the audience to a whole other level. Fans jumped up from their seats the moment they heard the opening chords to this amazing 70's classic. It was hard to hear Mason singing because everyone in attendance was singing along for the entire song. That's a good thing!

Mason also performed " Look At You Look At Me" and "Dear Mr. Fantasy". The closer was "Feelin' Alright", followed by the encore "All Along The Watchtower".

The fans were relentless in letting Mason leave the stage. Wanting another encore, they clapped, whistled , and cheered but Mason was not to return and had to make way for the Doobie Brothers who were up next.

Mason should leave this show Feelin' Alright because he came to do a great show, and bring back fond memories. He delivered all that he had and it was more than enough to fill the hearts of the musically hungry.
