Here is a brief history about VOX: Voices Of Extreme....

Voices of Extreme is a power trio hailing from New York.  The band's history dates back to 2004 with it's inception and now proudly lists its members as Don Chaffin (Lead Vocalist/Guitarist), Steven G. Knight (Bass) and Bobby Marks (Drums).

Formed in early 2004, Voices of Extreme (VOX) started out as a hard rock/power metal band formed by childhood friends Don Chaffin and Bob Brennan. Blabbermouth.net stated, "V.O.X. is an up-and-coming band which has caught the interest of top industry players like Nicko McBrain (IRON MAIDEN)..." In early 2004, VOX announced their new album release titled "Hypocrite", produced by Dan Spitz of Anthrax.

Ruben Mosqueda stated in his review, "Hypocrite is considered somewhat of an undiscovered gem and was produced by former Anthrax guitarist Dan Spitz." As stated by target audience magazine, "Voices of Extreme has had an interesting career since their beginning. Their first album, Hypocrisy, was released in 2005 and was a major hit...  SmashMouth Records took on Voices of Extreme and released their album “Break The Silence” on November 1, 2013. Metal underground stated "Break the Silence is a culmination of the band’s collective influences and various individual styles, and is a direct outreach to the fans who have come to love and support our music and live performances!”.
